Canada Olympics 2021 Live

If you’re wondering how to watch the Olympics in Canada either online or on TV, we’ve got all the details so you can catch every single minute of every single event throughout the Games.

CBC told Narcity that its coverage of the Olympic Games taking place in Tokyo will be available for free on a bunch of its platforms. The opening ceremony officially kicks off the competition on July 23 and it all comes to an end on August 8.

On top of airing on TV, events from Tokyo will be streamed on CBC Gem (the broadcasting company’s streaming service), CBC’s Tokyo 2020 site and the CBC Olympics app, which is the CBC Sports app updated specifically for the Games.

Since the Olympics will be free to watch, you don’t have to sign up and pay for the CBC’s streaming service if that’s how you want to catch events throughout the competition. You can just download the app or go to the site and start watching.

A spokesperson for Google told Narcity that the Games will also be available to watch on the CBC Sports YouTube channel. You’ll be able to tune into live events, recaps, athlete interviews and more throughout the Olympics.

In March 2020, Canada dropped out of the competition because of COVID-19 and the Tokyo Olympics were postponed to 2021 soon after that.
