The No. 1 seed Gonzaga will face the No. 2 seed UCLA on Tuesday during this year’s Empire Classic.
This matchup will be the 43rd time in history that the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will meet in the regular season. Historically, the No. 1 seed leads with 22 wins and 20 losses. Additionally, this game is a rematch of Gonzaga vs. UCLA’s Final Four game back in April, which Gonzaga won in overtime 93-90.

The Empire Classic takes place in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Central Michigan and Bellarmine are the other two teams participating in the tournament. The Empire Classic begins on Monday, Nov. 22, and then the Gonzaga-UCLA matchup will be on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
